POOLSTONES by SOFIKITIS project won the first place during the first round of the iPool2013 contest which was completed on 31 July 2013. The best two photos of each participating country qualified for the second round which will be held from August 12 to October 1, 2013.
During the second part of the competition the winner will be indicated, while the award ceremony will take place in the framework of the PISCINA BARCELONA (15 – 18/10/2013) and AQUANALE (22 – 10.25.2013) expositions.
In order to participate in the contest iPool2013, POOLSTONES by SOFIKITIS has chosen among thousands of photos of its projects created over the past 10 years, five projects which have been implemented in Greece. Out of these, one project held a special position from the very beginning.
The participating photo illustrates a perimeter overflow pool with sea view, located in the beautiful island of Skiathos, in central Greece. For the perimeter decoration of this pool a Moroccan beige marble has been chosen, which fits perfectly with the natural environment.
It is worth noting that this photo has been also selected by the training institution “The Genesis 3 Design Group” and has been placed on the home page of its website http://www.genesis3.com.
The perfectly designed and constructed swimming pool managed to attract voters attention, receiving dithyrambic comments, leading POOLSTONES by SOFIKITIS to the first place of the preliminary round. The distinctively different products and the innovative solutions offered by POOLSTONES by SOFIKITIS can be precisely reflected in this photo.
