With the help of Watermaster Qatar, one of our distributors in Qatar, we recently delivered one of our most impressive projects, the construction of the free-form pool of DoubleTree by Hilton in Doha. The accurate Auto-Cad drawings of the pool sent by the customer have decisively contributed to the elimination of differences during the overflow installation.
A two-piece overflow model made of East Grey Marble was installed, with the front coping being fully bullnosed on the outer side towards the pool and half bull nosed on the back side, while the back coping being half bull nosed on the front side towards the channel and vertically cut on the back side. This overflow model is another version for the Type-R overflow system made by SOFIKITIS Poolstones.
In cases where the customer is supplied with overflow types consisting of two pieces and given that both pieces are glued, we make sure removable pieces are manufactured in order to have access to the channel thus facilitating its cleaning.
This project draws the excellent aesthetic result from the wonderful combination between the products used by Watermaster Qatar, which in this case are the marble pool products of SOFIKITIS Poolstones on the one hand and the glass mosaic on the other hand.
